The Center for Pain Management, which is a part of the Palmetto Health Alliance of South Carolina, has been providing Occupational Rehabilitation Services for over ten years. The Center has worked hard to establish itself as a leader in patient care and as a facility, which provides an array of services from, acute care interventions to a multidisciplinary approach to treating chronic pain.
Approximately three years ago the Center established EMPLOYER ADVANTAGE, a program designed to offer a variety of WORK INJURY PREVENTION SERVICES to industry. One of the services provided is the IMPACC program that includes: work site evaluation, management and employee training, as well as industry specific ergonomics training. Since then the Center has worked with several large corporations and helped them establish successful programs, which have significantly reduced their cost as well as increased employee productivity.
Other services provided on site at the Center include: Comprehensive Pain Management, Interventional Pain Management Services, Acute Physical Therapy, Work Reconditioning, Job Site Analysis (used to assist in returning workers to specific jobs), Functional Capacity Evaluations and Vocational Services to include aptitude and interest testing.
The Center for Pain Management is a facility, which is continually striving to provide services to the community.

Ergo Safe, using the IMPACC program, provides state-of-the-art ergonomic consultation
and training throughout the Southeastern U.S. Ergo Safe is a multi-disciplinary
team, which includes, ergonomists, physical therapists, occupational therapists
and safety professionals. Ergo Safe works with its client companies to reduce
Workman Compensation costs. Our program is designed to help our clients identify
and correct risk factors that lead to injuries. Workers gain a safer work environment
while companies gain a healthier bottom line by reducing costs arising from
claims, lost-work time and decreased production. These goals are achieved through
work risk analysis of all workstations, management training, employee training,
and ergonomic team development.
